Getting there is half the fun! Travel by open topped land rover through the rural countryside leaving all civilization behind. Enjoy the diverse landscape, discovering banana plantations and a fishing village, eventually arriving at the edge of the river from where the 15-minute riverside walk commences. The hike, which necessitates actually crossing the riverbed (and so getting your feet and or trainers wet), leads to a waterfall framed with tropical vegetation. Take a few minutes to sit on one of the river boulders and take in the atmosphere, or take a refreshing dip in the cool waters of one of the natural rock pools. After the trek back to the jeep enjoy a drink on board before traveling to the village of Anse la Raye for a refreshment stop and free time to take a walk around before heading back to your hotel.
Please Note - This tour is over uneven terrain. It is not suitable for kids, physically challenged, persons with heart conditions, or pregnant women. Please wear sturdy shoes or trainers and be prepared to get them wet! Seat belts must be worn at all times. You must remain seated at all times.
